500 Potential Applicants Attended Info Day Events in All Eligible Regions

From 27 June to 5 July the Joint Technical Secretariat organised in all 10 core and adjoining regions of the Programme area Info Days for potential applicants of the 1st and 2nd Calls for Proposals launched earlier this year. Around 500 participants from regional and local authorities, NGOs and other organisations from Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine attended the events.

The potential applicants were informed by the JTS staff about the financing opportunities provided by the European Union within the European Neighbourhood Instrument Cross Border Cooperation, differences of the financial framework 2014-2020 in comparison with 2007-2013, increased responsibilities of the partner countries and new legal framework of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020. The main focus of the Info Days were the 1st and 2nd Calls for Proposals launched by the participating countries earlier this year, including the 6 funding priorities; eligibility of applicants, projects, partnerships and costs; application procedures; project and financial planning; as well as new specific Programme-level output and result indicators each project is obliged to specify and meet.

In Ukraine, the Info Days were organised with support of Regional State Administrations in Uzhhorod with highest interest among potential applicants, Ivano-Frankivsk and the adjoining region of Chernivtsi. In Romania, potential applicants attended the Info Days in Satu Mare, Baia Mare and the adjoining region of Suceava. In Slovakia, the Info Days were delivered to interested potential applicants in Košice and Prešov. And in Hungary, the events were held in Nyíregyháza and Miskolc.

Following the Info Days, all the presentations and materials in national languages were published on the webpages on national Info Days.
