With the increasing the number of electro vehicles (EV), there is an infrastructure issue regarding the allocation of separate places that will be equipped with chargers, parking lots near historical heritage sites, shopping centers, cinemas, sports clubs, near buildings of state authorities, create more comfortable conditions for electric car owners and stimulate to expand the power supply network from in Europe. Motor transport is now, in fact, the largest consumer of energy carriers and one of the main air polluters, in particular, in large cities.
All partners are self-sufficient in energy production, therefore the only smart alternative to solving the problem is electric transport development. The cost of batteries is falling rapidly, while relatively low electricity price creates a perfect synergy effect for electric car development. Global electric vehicles development trends constitute a direct confirmation of this fact. The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine sets the target of electric car sales growth up to 15% of the whole market of new cars by 2020. The same statistics are observed in the countries of Eastern Europe. The overall project goal is implementation of system solutions in the development of environmentally friendly transport systems with low emission and noise level, encouragement of active use of electric cars by residents. As the result of project implementation there will be developed a network of charging stations for electric cars will be created in those cities, stations for electromobile charging will be placed in tourist places as a pre-condition for the development of intercity electric cars transport network that will increase cross-border trade and improve mobility of persons and goods.
